B Day---DON'T FORGET TO BRING YOUR PERSUASIVE ESSAYS TO CLASS ON TUESDAY!!! Remember: whenever you see something written in bold or in all capital letters, it means that it is very important. Text written in red also usually qualifies as being very important.

A Day---We will finish peer editing in class on Wednesday. When we finish peer editing, you will work on revising your essays.

Thursday, December 10, 2009

At this point, you should have already turned in your revised District Timed Writings. If you still have them in your possession, give them to me ASAP, including everything that we did along with them (post-it notes, peer edit slips, revised introductions, etc.).

A Day - The first draft of your persuasive essay is due on Monday, December 14th. Don't forget to bring that, as well as the other papers that go along with it (steps to writing a persuasive essay, sample essay, etc.).

B Day - Continue to work on your essays tonight and over the weekend. The first draft will be due on Tuesday, December 15th.

On another note, please come prepared with paper, pens, and all ELA items every single day. Your peers should not be held responsible for providing you with materials.
