6th Grade:
Today, we continued reading The Giver (through about Chapter 5) and began working on a compare and contrast chart for the community in the novel and Jacksonville. We will work on this again next class, so your only homework is to read as much as you can!
8th Grade:
Today, we will take a District Timed Writing prompt to serve as a baseline for writing. We will also continue to work on the assignment for the story, "The Ransom of Red Chief," by O. Henry. No homework except to read!
